About the Author

Reverend Joseph Scerbo, S.A., Ph.D. was a Franciscan Friar of the Atonement and Christian psychotherapist. In his 45-year ministry, he gave hundreds of retreats around the world on healing through reconciliation. Father Joe’s extensive work included seventeen years as the Academic Dean of Trinity College of Graduate Studies, president of the Association of Christian Therapists, Historian and Advisor to the docudrama, Serra: Always Forward, Never Back, forty years in the healing ministry, tireless efforts to strengthen interfaith relations, and many publications. Fr. Joe, who was passionate about finding God in every moment, entered eternal life on March 19, 2015.

About the Writer

Rosemary Alva is a professional writer and personal historian with an emphasis on memoirs and family histories. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, she combines her life-long passions for both writing and life stories to accentuate how knowing our stories will strengthen the family tree.
